The personnel of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) comes from a very diverse background. The Bureau has recruiting efforts that extend to educational degrees from accountancy to law. They have every degree that is known.

This year, the NBI Academy is now searching for special agents.

Place of Assignment : NCR Regional Operations Service (ROS)

Position Title: Investigation Agent I

Salary/Job/Pay Grade : 18

Monthly Salary : Php 43,681.00

Eligibility : RA 1080

Education: Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Business Administration major in Accounting

Training: Must have undergone and passed the NBI Agent’s Basic training course

Work Experience: None required

Place of Assignment: NCR Anti-Organized and Transnational Crime Division (AOTCD)

Position Title: Investigation Agent I

Place of Assignment: NCR Criminal Intelligence Division (CRID)

Position Title: Investigation Agent I

Education: Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or

training course

Work Experience: None required

Place of Assignment : NCR Technical Intelligence Division (TID)

Position Title : Investigation Agent I

Salary/Job/Pay Grade : 18

Monthly Salary : Php 43,681.00

Eligibility : RA 1080

Education : Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Business Administration major in Accounting

Training : Must have undergone and passed the NBI Agent’s Basic training course

Work Experience : None required 

QUALIFICATION OF AGENTS

The qualifications of NBI Agents are:

1. Must be a citizen of the Philippines, of good moral character and with excellent physical and mental condition;

 

2. A member of the Philippine Bar, OR a holder of a baccalaureate degree who passed the necessary government Licensure Examination relevant to the Investigative functions of the NBI;

 

3. No pending criminal, civil or administrative charge and never convicted of any crime;

 

4. Between 25 to 35 years old;

 

5. At least 5’5” in height for male and 5’3” for female;

 

6. With General Weighted Average (GWA) of 85% in the Transcript of Records (TOR);

 

7. Vision with normal range;

 

8. No tattoo marks or pierced ears;

 

9. Must successfully passed the competitive mental and physical examination required by NBI; and


10. Willing to be assigned anywhere in the Philippines.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

Bring/submit to the National Academy for pre-assessment of the following documents;

ü  Diploma

ü  Transcript of Records

ü  Eligibility (Bar/Board)

ü  Birth Certificate

ü  Marriage Certificate (if applicable)

ü  Community Tax Certificate

ü  Residential Certificate

ü  Personal Data Sheet (CS Form 212)

ü  2 pcs. 2×2 Pictures Note: In Formal Attire/White Background

ü  NBI and Police Clearances

ü  Court Clearances from RTC, MTC, and Prosecutor’s

ü  ITR/W2- if working

ü  SALN – if Government Employee

NOTE: Always bring original documents with duplicate copies.

SCREENING PROCEDURE

In order to assess and pick the best and most suitable applicants, applicants must pass rigid qualifying examinations and screening procedures, namely:

ü  Preliminary Medical Check-up

ü  Written Examination

ü  Preliminary Interview

ü  Neuro-Psychiatric Examination

ü  Complete Medical Examination

ü  Agility Test

ü  Polygraph Test

ü  Background Investigation

ü  Panel Interview

ü  Training in the NBI Academy

Interested and qualified applicants should signify their interest in writing. Attach the following documents to the application letter and send to the address below not later than TBA.

1. Fully accomplished Personal Data Sheet (PDS) with recent passport-size picture (CS Form No. 212, Revised 2017) which can be downloaded at www.csc.gov.ph;

2. Performance Rating in the last rating period (if applicable);

3. Photocopy of certificate of eligibility/rating/license; and

4. Photocopy of Transcript of Records.
