(J-R) Passers: MedTech Board Exam March 2024
The
Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced that out of 8,778 9,068 takers,
only 7,309 (80.60%) passed the Medical
Technologist Board Exam (MedTech) given
by the Board of Board of Medical Technology in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro,
Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales,
Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga this March 2024.
This two-day test was given in several sites around the Philippines on March 21 and 22, 2024 (Thursday and Friday). These locations included the NCR, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

To pass the written exam, candidates need an overall score of 75% or above and no more than a 50% in any of the test’s major subjects. Unless the candidate fails at least 60% of the subjects (the exact number will depend on the weights). Those who did not pass the exam as a whole but nevertheless managed to get a score of at least 70% were qualified to become registered medical laboratory technicians.
