DOJ orders NBI to investigate killing of Los Baños Mayor
The
Department of Justice (DOJ) tasks the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to
conduct case build-up relative to the death of Mayor Caesar Perez of Los Baños.
In
a Memorandum signed by Usec. Adrian Ferdinand S Sungay dated December 4, 2020,
the DOJ directed NBI Director Eric B Distor to conduct investigation and to
submit periodic reports to Office of the Secretary within 30 days.

The
Los Baños Mayor was shot twice in the head of unknown gunman inside his office
at 8:45pm.
The
Laguna Police Provincial Office (LPPO) investigators are still investigating
the case to identify/locate the perpetrator/s.
