RESULTS: AUGUST 2024 Electrical Engineer, Master Electrician Board Exam
The Professional
Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 1,655 out of 3,058 examinees
passed the August 2024 Registered Electrical Engineer Board Examination,
while 335 out of 834 examinees passed the Registered Master
Electrician Board Examination.
The results of the August 2024 Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) and Registered Master Electrician Board Examination (RME) are expected to be released within two (2) working days from the last day of the examination, as required by Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Res. No. 1836, entitled Revised Schedule of Licensure Examinations from August-December 2024.
The examination for Registered Electrical Engineers was administered on August 24 and 25, 2024 (Sat-Sun) and for Registered Master Electricians on August 26, 2024 (Monday) in different testing centers in the National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Cebu and Davao.
The examination was
administered by the PRC Board of Electrical Engineering, which was chaired by
Engr. Francis V. Mapile and included member Engr. Jaime V. Mendoza.

Specifications, Computer Fundamentals and Programming, Philippine Electrical

c. (50%)
b. PHILIPPINE ELECTRICAL CODE, PARTS 1 and 2 including: General Installation Requirements, Wiring Methods and Materials, Wiring Devices, Tools and Techniques, Wiring Ampacity and Protection, Equipment for General Use, Special Occupancies, Special Equipment, Special Conditions, Lighting and Wiring, Motor and Generator Wiring Connections, Communications and Signaling Wiring, Electrical Safety and others. (50%)
Passing Score (%)
The passing general weighted average rating is 70%, with no grade lower than 50% in any subject. An examinee is considered to have passed the board examination if he receives an average grade of seventy percent (70%) in the subject/s repeated. However, if an examinee obtains a grade of less than 70%, that examinee will be conditioned again and will have to retake the examination on the same subject until he or she obtains a grade of 70% or higher.
If an examinee obtains a
general average grade of less than 70%, the exam is considered failed, and the
examinee must retake all of the subjects, even if they passed one or more of
the subjects.
REE-RME Rating Verification
The REE-RME rating verification for the August 2024 Electrical Engineer Board Examination given by the PRC Board of Electrical Engineering will be available via PRC online portal.
