PNP Personnel to Receive Two Cash Incentives This December

The Philippine National Police (PNP) will receive two (2) different cash incentives this year: the Productivity Enhancement Incentive (PEI) and the Service Recognition Incentive (SRI).

The PNP has already received the Year-End Bonus last November 12, 2024, equivalent to one (1) month of their basic salary.

The PNP Finance Service has not yet released the Productivity Enhancement Incentive (PEI), which is worth Php5,000.

Last year, President Ferdinand R Marcos Jr. issued an administrative order no. 12 dated December 7, 2023, which grants the Service Recognition Incentive (SRI) worth not exceeding Php20,000 to all qualified government employees.

Civilian employees should hold a permanent, contracted, or casual role to be able to collect the SRI, and should be in government service as of 30 November of the current year.

As of November 30, the employee must also have made a cumulative or composite of four months of service. Those who have worked for fewer than four months are entitled to a pro-rated share of the SRI.

In national government departments, including state universities and schools, and government-owned or managed companies, the SRI will be granted to all civilian employees. The SRI will also be issued by both military and uniformed personnel.

The grant of the one-time SRI shall be decided by their respective Sanggunians for employees in local government units, based on the financial power of the LGU.

Similarly, their Boards of Directors can decide the grant of SRI to workers in Local Water Districts. The same refers to workers of organizations excluded from coverage under RA No. 6758, as amended, where the award of SRI to employees is decided by their boards of directors or by the heads of the department.
