(J-R) Passers: MedTech Board Exam August 2024
The
Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced that out of 5,574 takers,
only 3,872 (69.47%) passed the Medical
Technologist Board Exam (MedTech) given
by the Board of Board of Medical Technology in National
Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Cebu and Davao this August 2024.
This two-day test was given in several testing sites around the Philippines on August 6 and 7, 2024 (Tuesday and Wednesday). These locations included the NCR, Baguio, Cebu, and Davao.

To pass the written exam, candidates need an overall score of 75% or above and no more than a 50% in any of the test’s major subjects. Unless the candidate fails at least 60% of the subjects (the exact number will depend on the weights). Those who did not pass the exam as a whole but nevertheless managed to get a score of at least 70% were qualified to become registered medical laboratory technicians.
